System's Engineer

We are looking for highly motivated candidates to join our permanent staff.

Qilimanjaro’s aim is to bring benefits of quantum computing as soon as possible to the world. In order to achieve this, we need to encode quantum information into analogue quantum processors. Your job will be to devise the fabrication recipe for each component of the QPU and do the basing characterization of the devices you develop. You will work in the highest standard clean rooms and cutting edge nanotechnology to help us develop and expand our current processors.

Job description:

• Extract requirements from stakeholders and transform them into system specifications.

• Define test plans at system level and coordinate block level requirements with divisions and traceability between requirements.

• DFMEA analysis, detect risks and failure modes in advance and prepare contingency plans.

• Create comprehensive user manuals and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accessibility.

• Technical reviews with team leaders to align on requirements, tests and identify delays and issues on time.

• Contribute to the internal roadmap by proposing innovative solutions and improvements.
